At Timeless at Tiffany’s Medspa we use the 1st FDA cleared microneedling device on the market, the SkinPen® Precision. SkinPen® microneedling is a medical grade motorized instrument that utilizes tiny needles to deliver controlled micro-injuries safely and precisely to the skin, prompting new collagen and elastin production to effectively remodel skin tissue. This is a safe and effective treatment for any skin type and can be performed on all parts of the body. Results of microneedling can be further improved when used in a Vampire Facial.
Once the microneedling is completed, a portion of your blood is applied to your skin topically to help your tissue grow new cells and regenerate. To obtain this potent elixir we perform a standard blood draw from your arm, and then use a machine called a centrifuge to spin the blood, separating out enriched plasma from the blood. The concentration of growth factors promotes faster healing and rejuvenation treating all types of skin issues. This minimally invasive procedure is clinically proven to treat and improve conditions such as acne scars, fine lines and wrinkles, large pores, skin laxity, uneven texture, stretch marks, and pigmentation.
What is the downtime after Vampire Facial?
This in-office treatment also has little to no downtime. You will have some remaining blood on the skin after your procedure and for best results we recommend leaving this on the skin overnight. The following day you may experience temporary redness, dryness and swelling. Most of these side-effects clear up within 24-48 hours. Your provider will go over all aftercare instructions needed for you to achieve the best results. An SPF 30 + should be applied daily and reapplied as needed. We recommend a physical, chemical free sunscreen like ones we have in our office to minimize irritation to the skin post procedure.
Does the Vampire Facial hurt?
Your provider will apply a local anesthetic to numb the area before treatment to keep you comfortable during your procedure.
How many Vampire Facial treatments are needed?
This varies on your individual goals, skin concerns you wish to address, and the current condition of your skin. A series of procedures may be needed to deliver the desired results over the course of several visits. Discuss treatment options during a complimentary consultation with one of our aesthetic experts and find out if the Vampire Facial is the right treatment to help you reach your skincare goals.
